It is often necessary to share your Google Analytics account with someone who is working on your site, while sharing passwords is not recommended there is a facility in Google Analytics that allows you to grant another user access to your account.
- Log into your Google Analytics account and click on [Admin] in the bottom left hand corner.
2. Click on [Account User Management]
3. Click on the blue plus [+] in the top right hand corner of the screen.
4. Click [Add Users]
5. Add the new users email address and select the appropriate permissions then click the blue [Add] button in the top right hand corner. This will then send an email to the new user inviting them to access the account.
NOTE : If you give a user “Manage Users” permission they will be able to remove you from the account.
